Key Responsibilities

  • Providing legal advice to the Minister on workplace relations matters.
  • Liaising with Office of Parliamentary Counsel (OPC) about the drafting of legislation.
  • Working closely with policy divisions in the WR Group to provide expert guidance on workplace relations legislative reform options.

About You

We are looking for a skilled lawyer with experience in leading legislation development, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to clearly explain complex concepts to a range of audiences, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, including good judgement and resilience, someone who excels at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with others, ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
