About The Role

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed teachers to fulfil the temporary part-time role of Science/Mathematics Teacher in our Secondary School.

This role will commence and run until the end of the year. This position also has the potential to become a permanent position.

As a member of our Secondary School team spanning Year 7 to Year 12, the teacher collaborates closely with the KLA Coordinator and Wellbeing Coordinators.

  • Work With Children Check (WWCC) Clearance
  • Enthusiasm for engaging students in meaningful learning experiences
  • Passion for Christian Education
  • Confident in the use of technology in the classroom
  • Curious and tenacious learners with a passion for motivating students to be likewise
  • Willingness and capacity to teach Stage 6 Physics and/or Chemistry
  • Experience in teaching Stages 4-6 Science or Mathematics
  • Integrated understanding of the interaction between faith and the teaching of Science
  • Experience working in an educational setting
