Personal Care Assistant Job Description

At Respect, we value compassion and empathy in our care team. The Personal Care Assistant role involves providing supportive care to residents, promoting independence and dignity. You will work collaboratively with the senior clinical team to deliver exceptional personal care services.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a Certificate III qualification, and relevant experience in residential aged care. Flexibility to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts is essential. As part of our commitment to providing high-quality care, you will be required to maintain accurate records and reports. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personal care services to support residents' independence and dignity
  • Assist with meal delivery and refreshments as needed
  • Record observations and update care plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with the EN/RN to prioritize resident needs and tasks
Essential Requirements:
  • Current National Police Certificate
  • Relevant Certificate III Qualification
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in residential aged care
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts
