Chef Opportunity at Baringa Private Hospital

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our catering team at Baringa Private Hospital, a leading private hospital owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the food preparation for patients, staff, and functions. You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality hospital food production and cleanliness, in line with the Food Safety Plan, relevant HACCP standards, and Hospital policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock ordering and receiving deliveries
  • Food preparation and presentation
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Working with a large and varied team

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital or hotel central kitchen
  • Capability to cater to a wide variety of sensitive dietary requirements
  • Excellent work ethic, customer service skills, and time management skills

What We Offer

A competitive hourly rate, ranging from $29.00 to $32.00, plus superannuation, based on relevant experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will have access to professional development opportunities, including education scholarships and the Ramsay Leadership Academy.
