At the heart of our operations lies a vital role: the GSE Support Coordinator. This position demands meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to ensuring seamless ground service equipment management.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and an innate ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can excel in this challenging role, capitalizing on their extensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault-finding techniques.

A strong Mechanical Trade Certificate is highly desirable, as is a current driver's license. Experience in airport operational ground handling or similar settings is also advantageous.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Defect Management:
    • Triage and manage GSE defects with precision
    • Perform routine repairs, including replacing bulbs, wipers, jump-starting, puncture repair, and fluid checks
    • Collaborate with equipment operators to conduct regular safety inspections on tires, seat belts, brakes, lights, and horns
  • Fleet Administration:
    • Coordinate fleet administration, encompassing vehicle passes, defect clearance, and fuel issuance
    • Manage insurance requirements and schedule equipment release for preventive maintenance and inspections in compliance with regulations
  • Supplier Coordination and Oversight:
    • Act as the primary liaison between maintenance providers and operational teams
    • Report and track equipment defects, oversee maintenance work, and ensure quality checks before equipment returns to service
    • Support monitoring and approval processes for repairs, maintenance, and vendor expenditures
  • Station Support:
    • Assist operations with tasks such as headset repair, managing pins, chocks, cones, and potable water testing
    • Engage with airport authorities and customer airlines on GSE-related issues and projects
