The Opportunity
This role involves ensuring sufficient capable and competent engineering resources to deliver communications and operational technology projects. Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving designs, providing expertise in railway telecommunications systems, directing production, and maintaining project-specific engineering management plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 12 years of relevant design and management experience. Demonstrable end-to-end knowledge of railway telecommunications systems is essential, as well as experience in designing, deploying, and upgrading GSM-R and/or 2G/4G/5G networks. Knowledge of European Rail Traffic Management Systems (ERTMS) – Design & Testing, radio planning tools, and performance management tools is also required.
