Job Opportunity: Relief Batcher/Driver

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven individual to fill the role of Relief Batcher/Driver. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

In this position, you will:

  • Operate reliable and well-maintained equipment, ensuring timely delivery of concrete products to our customers.
  • Loading and delivery of concrete is a key responsibility, requiring careful attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Effective maintenance of a concrete agitator truck is essential, and the successful candidate will be responsible for regular checks and upkeep.
  • General concrete plant maintenance tasks will also be undertaken, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid HR driver's license, with experience driving an agitator truck preferred but not essential.
  • A current White Card or ability to obtain one if successful.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and quality control.
  • A professional work ethic, with a customer service-oriented attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a collaborative attitude and a focus on achieving results.
  • A high regard for safety policies and procedures, with a commitment to upholding these standards at all times.

We offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate from $28.20/hour, plus penalty rates and superannuation.
  • A typical working week will involve 6am -4pm Monday to Friday, with occasional rostered Saturdays from 6am - 12pm.
