The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maritime Domain Capability to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who can lead and manage a team of experts in governance, analysis, and reporting systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Maritime Domain Capability, you will be responsible for leading a small team of specialists in risk assurance, governance, and data analysis. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic leadership and direction to the team to ensure effective delivery of projects and programs;
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve governance, analysis, and reporting systems and processes;
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, ministers, and other government agencies;
- Ensuring compliance with Defence procedures, policies, and legislative requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong background in program and project management, with experience in leading teams and managing complex projects;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders;
- A deep understanding of the complexities involved in working in blended teams with APS, ADF, and contracted staff;
- A focus on delivering high-quality results and outcomes.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $134,567 - $161,521 per annum, plus up to 15.4% Superannuation. You will also receive a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a comprehensive leave entitlement.
