Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of NDIS and HCP clients, developing strategies and treatment plans to support patients in overcoming their challenges, and providing advice on technical equipment that may support the patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of NDIS and HCP clients, providing individualized care and support.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
  • Assess patients' environments to identify areas for modification and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Teach patients exercises and strategies to apply in their daily lives, promoting independence and self-management.
  • Liaise with other treating professionals to discuss patient progress and ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist qualification as per AHPRA.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in the NDIS and/or HCP.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently produce required reports, including FCA's.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • NDIS workers screening check.
  • Police check.
  • Working with children's check.
