Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our team in Brisbane, QLD on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be involved in the installation of HV cables through underground conduit. You will also be responsible for the termination of HV cabling and the installation of interconnect cabling in HV switch rooms and substations.

Your duties will include handling ABB and free-issued materials, installing cable ladders and conducting civil works and conduit installations.

Work Environment:

You will work on a range of projects for iconic clients throughout Brisbane and South-East Queensland. Our Brisbane operations, based in Eagle Farm, require regular overtime (currently 11-hour days Monday to Friday and 8-hour days Saturday).

Competitive Salary Package:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from AU$120,000 to AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus allowances.

About You:

  • You must have an excellent attitude to safety.
  • You should have experienced in cable pulling by winch and hand.
  • You should have at least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor in the industrial electrical space.
  • Previous HV experience is preferred but not essential.
  • You must be able to work with a strong emphasis on maintaining our long-term client relationships.
  • You should be able to work and fit into a great team, whilst also being able to work independently.
  • Industrial, instrumentation and hazardous area experience are highly regarded but not essential.
  • You should be flexible and open to working away from home, as required by the company.

Licences and Certifications:

  • You must hold Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
  • You must hold QLD Electrical License.
  • You must hold EWP High risk work license.
  • You must hold Working at heights certificate within the past 2 years.
  • You must hold LVR/CPR certificate within the past 12 months.
  • You must hold White Construction Card.
  • You must hold C Class Drivers Licence.
  • You must hold or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
