Aged Care Food Service Assistant

We are seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our team in Residential Aged Care Homes across Western Australia. The role is part-time and casual, offering the perfect opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the aged care sector.
Key Responsibilities- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional food service to residents, ensuring that all meals are served efficiently and with a smile.
- You will provide assistance with food preparation, dining room setup and clearing, as well as undertaking basic kitchen tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
A key aspect of this role is maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen area. You will also be required to conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that stock levels are adequate.
Requirements- A strong background in hospitality or food preparation is essential, with relevant certifications such as Basic Food Safety Practices (HLTFS7A) and Food Handler (HLTFS207C).
- Previous experience in an aged care environment would be highly regarded, but not necessary. What's more important is your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
