Accounting Manager Position

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage financial records, prepare statements, and oversee cash flow.

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records for multiple entities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor and analyze all general ledger accounts to determine necessary accruals or other adjusting journal entries.
  • Responsible for all AP & AR functions, including processing invoices, bills, checks, and deposits.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, investment activity, and intercompany transactions.
  • Review property-level financials, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Support asset management and development teams with financial data and reporting.
  • Oversee cash flow management and budgeting processes.
  • Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.
  • Accurately calculate cash distributions, initiate cash payments to investors, and record transactions in the general ledger.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in real estate accounting, strong technical skills, and the ability to streamline processes for scalability.

The following qualifications and skills are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  • CPA or progress toward certification preferred;
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate;
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar);
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
