Pond Maintenance Specialist

At our sustainable aquaculture farm, we are dedicated to producing high-quality food while maintaining the health of our aquatic resources.
This role is crucial to our operation's success. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our automated feeding systems, working closely with our operations team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Manage and operate automated feeding systems to ensure healthy prawn growth and development.
- Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain feeders, hydrophones, and feed pipes to prevent mechanical issues.
- Proactively identify and resolve problems with feeding equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the farm operations and central feed teams to refine and optimize feeding strategies.
- Maintain a strict adherence to all quality assurance and safety standards and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Be confident in working in challenging conditions, including in and around water.
- Show reliability and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Evidence effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Commit to working the full season on a 2/2/3 roster.
- Have reliable transport and the legal right to work in Australia.
- Show eagerness to learn, adapt to new challenges, and contribute to a positive team environment.
