Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our team. As a skilled mechanic with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Stripping, rebuilding, and modifying hydraulic components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Testing and troubleshooting components to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintaining accurate records of parts used and reporting inadequate stock levels to support efficient inventory management.
  • Providing assistance and guidance to team members and mentoring junior technicians.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards of quality in all tasks.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and ability to read schematic drawings.
  • Experience in rebuilding and modifying mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in machining operations, including lathe and mill operation, and fabrication skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering and a current manual driver's license.
  • Forklift License and Certificate IV in Fluid Power (desirable).
  • Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Detailed-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
