About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MRI Technologist to join our team at The Royal Women's Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI services to our patients, working closely with radiologists and clinicians to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective MRI clinical services, applying clinical expertise and adhering to hospital procedures and guidelines.
  • Offer advanced clinical, technical, and operational advice to radiologists and clinicians, within the scope of your competency.
  • Prioritize workload according to hospital procedures, patient condition, clinical urgency, and impact on patient management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiations) or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without restrictions and licensing with the Radiation Health Division.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in MRI.
  • Demonstrated performance excellence in patient- and family-centred care approach.
  • Advanced clinical imaging knowledge and skills for complex MRI of women and neonates.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety, both operationally- and patient-centred.
