Building Services Internship Opportunity

This is a 6-month paid internship with our experienced building services technical leaders on local and national projects as a mechanical intern.

You will develop your skills across a diverse range of projects within the built environment, engaging your knowledge of HVAC mechanical principles to support conceptual design and engineering, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects, learn from industry leaders, and make an impact in the designs of the future. We are committed to nurturing and developing the next generation of professionals through mentorship and structured development programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn about the building services sector and the fundamentals of HVAC engineering and its importance in the built environment
  • Support and be part of a large team working on engineering designs, including heat load calculations, duct and pipework designs, and equipment selections
  • Develop new skills in using design software packages (Revit, Navisworks)
  • Attend site meetings, site inspections, liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Graduated or be in your final year at university
  • Studied (or graduated with) a mechanical engineering degree or related discipline
  • Availability to work at least 4 days a week, though full-time hours are preferred
