Wine industry professionals are invited to apply for the role of Laboratory Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of laboratory technicians in ensuring the quality of winemaking services.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Winemaker and be responsible for managing the winery analysis, bottling line QC and client communication.

This role requires:

  • Scientific tertiary qualifications with a bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as strong computer skills and data management abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a willingness to take ownership of laboratory functions and work cooperatively with other staff members. Additionally, they should possess knowledge of laboratory operating procedures, automated equipment, and standard wine and bottling analysis.

Applicants must hold Australian citizenship or residency, or have a valid existing Australian work visa.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Providing technical support to winemakers and bottling line supervisors.
  • Conducting regular quality control checks.
