Fire Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our industry.

This is an opportunity for a visible expert to guide teams with clarity and empathy, fostering a culture of trust and growth.

The successful candidate will contribute to multidisciplinary projects, applying their experience delivering moderate to large-scale projects with confidence and minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • To play a broader role across Arup by extending influence beyond the Fire team.
  • To lead project and non-project initiatives that connect teams and drive innovation.
  • To take shared ownership of team leadership, contributing to its growth and success.
  • To help shape long-term outcomes, guiding both project direction and team development.
Qualifications
  • A recognised relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, specialising in Fire Engineering or similar area; Chartered and enrolled on NPER.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of specialist areas; keeps up to date with current industry information and own knowledge and skills.
  • To contribute to the development of others through sharing expertise; demonstrates design/supervisory experience.
