About the Role

As a Content Strategist, you will be responsible for developing content strategies and deploying content across various channels and platforms. This role has a strong focus on external communications, with the responsibility to produce, source, and disseminate content that supports the acquisition, retention, and growth of customer segments, and feeds the growing demands of an inbound content marketing model.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategies, write plans, and produce content for multiple channels, including blogs, e-newsletters, campaigns, web, customer collateral, event support, and more.
  • Manage marketing data and target lists for external communications channels for customers and suppliers across all key segments.
  • Identify and leverage communications opportunities in events, sponsorship, and community engagement activities.
  • Develop and execute content strategies to support the whole customer lifecycle, from acquisition to retention and upselling.
  • Manage internal marketing communications through intranet content publishing and maintenance that promotes brand messages, brand guidelines, and consistent product and service representation.
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to plan content that supports their initiatives.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong experience with various business writing styles, design, and editing responsibilities.
  • Strong Spreadsheet, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of various digital and social content platforms.
  • Experience with email marketing and data management in CRM platforms.
  • Solid engagement and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Proficiency in DTP/Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Marketing automation software experience.
