About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Product Specialist to join our team at Sandvik. As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical support and assistance to internal and external customers, delivering exemplary service and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical expertise and develop solutions to resolve/prevent issues.
  • Perform adjustments of systems on client equipment.
  • Provide application advice to sales and review operating cost proposals.
  • Take technical and application ownership of market releases of new products and new product versions.
  • Conduct product launch, testing and commissioning services.
  • Provide aftermarket support to Equipment divisions and Sales Areas.
  • Cultivate lasting customer relationships to ensure Sandvik brand loyalty.
  • Coach the service network on proper equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide advanced technical support for complex issues to end users, operators, and service personnel.
  • Gather technical feedback and make recommendations based on feedback to better serve the customer.
  • Initiate root cause analysis for components when necessary.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced professional with a relevant Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent. You should have at least 7 years of post-trade experience in Underground Mining and a proven track record in a similar role. You should also have experience in delivering technical training to maintenance personnel and operators, and exceptional oral and written communication skills.
