We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Registered Nurse Lead to join our Carmelite Residential Care Team at Myrtle Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of new residents into our care.
Key Responsibilities- Complete admissions assessments and documentation to achieve accurate AN-ACC classification and prepare AN-ACC review packs and clinical documentation.
- Support residents and their families in discussing needs, goals, and preferences, and work collaboratively to develop safe and effective care plans.
- Provide support to the Care Manager in managing staff and resources to ensure all resident needs are met.
- Apply clinical judgements within scope of practice and provide guidance to nursing staff to ensure safe and effective care plans.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background and leadership abilities. The successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
- Previous relevant experience working as a Registered Nurse with high-level clinical skills and supervisory responsibilities in an aged care environment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards and AN-ACC funding.
