We are seeking a Digital Surface Specialist to join our Sydney studio and be part of this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will work independently and with production teams at an advanced level to execute the desired look of complicated CG models.

Main Responsibilities

  2. Execute the desired look of complicated CG models, including complex creatures and/or hard surface models, such as ships, real world vehicles, and environments.">
  3. Participate as a team member in determining design solutions and provide feedback to other members by attending dailies regularly.">
  4. Mentor Junior and mid-level Artists.">
  5. Maintain or exceed consistent productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  2. At least three years of relevant professional VFX experience and a college-level diploma or higher in computer graphics, fine arts, design, or photography; OR at least five years of relevant professional VFX experience.">
  3. A demo reel and portfolio illustrating understanding and experience in painting, illustration, or design.">
  4. Familiarity with film production and computer graphics.">
  5. Proficiency in Maya, Mari, Zbrush, Photoshop, and UV unwrapping tools.">
  6. Ability to navigate complex pipelines and attend to detail.">
  7. Good interpersonal and organizational skills.">

A plus if you have modeling skills or knowledge of Katana/Look Dev.
