Job Title: Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our Point of Sale team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and troubleshooting of our software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocating work, training, and overseeing team members to ensure adherence to processes, procedures, and system operation guidelines.
  • Supervising and supporting systems analysis, providing suggestions for new and existing point-of-sale hardware and software application systems.
  • Managing data and quality, resolving complex data issues across the organisation.
  • Analysing and optimising system processes and work practices, encouraging consistency across business areas.
  • Managing and supporting decision-making processes related to systems, providing guidance as needed.
  • Determining and assessing system failures, providing best-fit computer systems and business practices to cater to the organisation's specific needs.
  • Developing and implementing operational solutions, including system test plans, without compromising quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and delivering assistance to identify, determine, and resolve embedded hardware and software malfunctions.
  • Cooperating with service providers and external technical teams to analyse, recommend, install, and maintain client-friendly software applications and develop system specifications.
  • Preparing operational specifications for system developers.
  • Managing the integration of point-of-sale systems and new changes according to organisational policy.
  • Preparing documentation related to trainings.
  • Creating and supporting plans for new initiatives and projects, managing projects using project management methods and techniques.
  • Documenting system logs and operational procedures as per business requirements.
  • Working with managers and executives to plan, formulate, execute, and archive business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience.
  • Bachelor degree or higher qualification.
  • Ability to work under pressure, executing precise time management skills involving planning, prioritising, and delegating.
  • Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating roster.

Annual income for a standard 38-hour week, excluding superannuation, is $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with industry rate, skills, and experience.

Conditions covered by Contract of employment and Fair Work Australia National Employment standards.
