Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of software and firmware engineers, providing guidance on best practices and industry-leading techniques.
  • Analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement, leveraging this knowledge to innovate and transform the software development process.
  • Model effective habits in software engineering, designing processes that balance team needs and project requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools, ensuring seamless adoption by the team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Programming principles at an expert level.
  • Direct the implementation of DevOps, Agile development, pipeline delivery, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to support software development teams.
  • Develop and improve existing codebases, transforming their value without disruption.
  • Implement Testing via Automation script or manual based on product specifications.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and work experience.
  2. Minimum 8 years of programming experience in Software and Firmware Development, with 3 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced knowledge of Embedded C/C++, Python, and AWS components.
  2. Strong leadership skills, including ownership, learning from failures, and continuous improvement of team productivity and software quality.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
