About the Role

Contract Resources Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Chemical Cleaning Specialist to join our project team. This ongoing casual position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate nitrogen membrane units efficiently and safely.
  • Perform general chemical cleaning duties, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Engage in manual labouring type duties as required by the team.
  • Collaborate with other crews and assist in various tasks.
  • Depending on your skills and experience, you may participate in High Pressure Water Blasting & Vacuum loading duties.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to Work Health and Safety, including contributing to safety documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities to ensure efficient task completion.

Requirements & Experience Needed:

  • Proven experience in shutdown, maintenance, and commissioning, preferably in chemical cleaning/decontamination, pipeline testing, and Nitrogen Services.
  • At least 2 years of relevant oil and gas experience or related industry background.
  • Trade qualification or experience working in a process plant is highly valued.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience are highly regarded.
  • Holding a current Driver's Licence and full Australian work rights are essential.
  • Possession of a White or Blue Construction Card is also required.
  • A Working at Heights certificate obtained within the last 2 years and a Confined Space Entry Ticket obtained within the last 2 years are desirable.
  • BOSIET, CA-EBS, MSIC certifications are also desirable.
  • Ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Offshore medical certification.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
