Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering the Stapylton Sewerage Network Upgrade project. This project can be summarized as a 15 km pipeline project at the heart of northern Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Project Manager in planning, programming, procurement and providing technical leadership to ensure project milestones are met.
  2. Oversee project cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure financial performance aligns with expectations.
  3. Manage procurement and subcontractors, coordination, and performance to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and delivery.
  4. Lead quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  5. Facilitate the commissioning of systems and equipment, ensuring operational readiness and seamless integration.
  6. Work collaboratively with the client and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and address project requirements.
Requirements
  • A tertiary degree in either Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
  • RPEQ and/or CPEng (highly desirable).
  • Extensive experience in delivering civil and pipeline projects.
  • Expertise in project cost control, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Strong skills in construction programming and scheduling to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and fostering a safety-first culture.
