Our expertise encompasses pipelines, roads, bridges, dams, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation – the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
Opportunity OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering the Stapylton Sewerage Network Upgrade project. This project can be summarized as a 15 km pipeline project at the heart of northern Gold Coast.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Project Manager in planning, programming, procurement and providing technical leadership to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee project cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure financial performance aligns with expectations.
- Manage procurement and subcontractors, coordination, and performance to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and delivery.
- Lead quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Facilitate the commissioning of systems and equipment, ensuring operational readiness and seamless integration.
- Work collaboratively with the client and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and address project requirements.
- A tertiary degree in either Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
- RPEQ and/or CPEng (highly desirable).
- Extensive experience in delivering civil and pipeline projects.
- Expertise in project cost control, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Strong skills in construction programming and scheduling to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and fostering a safety-first culture.
