About this Key Role

We are seeking a highly skilled traffic management specialist to lead and manage local subcontractors and traffic management suppliers, ensuring performance outcomes and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic management, with experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing traffic switches, road access, and stakeholder access arrangements. The role involves developing and implementing traffic management plans in accordance with VicRoads / DoT Victoria standards from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive traffic management strategies
  • Communicating with stakeholders to deploy project traffic changes
  • Preparing weekly, monthly, and milestone reports
  • Providing technical leadership to site teams
  • Managing procurement, resources, and budgets within the traffic management scope

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Senior-level traffic management experience in construction or infrastructure
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Victorian traffic management standards
  • Extensive experience with major infrastructure projects
  • Proven leadership abilities and stakeholder management across all levels
