Community Engagement Manager

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on the autism spectrum to engage in community and skill development activities.
This multifaceted position requires expertise in both administrative responsibilities and hands-on facilitation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the interview and intake process of new clients
- Supporting and contributing to the development and implementation of quality daily program activities for clients
- Participating in a team approach for the planning, implementation, and accountability of services appropriate to the needs of the consumers
- Actively participating in supporting clients to engage in daily program activities
- Providing coaching and mentoring to support workers
- Facilitating innovative and dynamic programs designed to achieve community-based outcomes for clients
- Identifying training and development needs for support workers
- Creating linkages and networks to support ongoing community engagement opportunities for clients
- Building collaborative client partnerships through providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and advice
Requirements include:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Individual Support or related qualification
- Substantial experience in working directly with people on the Autism Spectrum
- Substantial experience in facilitation of group programs
- Substantial experience in working collaboratively with families and service providers
- Significant knowledge of skills development
- Sound knowledge and commitment to person-centred and customer centred practices and principles
- Significant experience leading a team in the achievement of outcomes
- DHS Working With Children Check;
- NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- National Police Check (NPC); and;
- All mandated COVID-19 vaccinations
