Job Description

We are seeking a Conveyancing Administrator to join our Real Estate practice group in Melbourne.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • You will be providing high-level administrative support to our Conveyancing team.
Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiating and tracking of trust monies - this includes deposits, sending out trust deposit receipts, identifying and tracking unidentified trust monies.
  • Liaising with Business Finance Trust Accounting Team on new trust accounting processes.
  • Matter opening, ongoing maintenance and billing.
  • Maintenance of off-plan development project spreadsheets including recording details of deposits, tax file numbers, option schedules, etc.
  • Providing timely and accurate administrative support to licensed conveyancers.
  • Delivering high-quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change and the competing priorities of all work.
  • Assisting with updating client information and relevant databases in a timely manner (e.g., InterAction).
Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of [insert number] years of experience as a Conveyancing Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage trust monies in a conveyancing context.
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
