Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing individual therapy for clients dealing with various mental health issues
  • Conducting assessments and report writing for Medicare and NDIS requirements
  • Managing client load and maintaining accurate case notes
  • Participating in group therapy programs and contributing to team and peer supervision meetings
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and their management teams
Essential Selection Criteria
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated expertise in counselling and case management across the lifespan
  • Understanding and skill to provide evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Ability to engage, establish rapport, and retain clients effectively
  • Strong record management, report, and case note taking skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating in a team environment
  • Strong ethical principles and values
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA or AASW
  • Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments
  • Compliance with AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 vaccination certificate, First Aid Training, and Driver's License
