As our Head Chef, you will lead a team of Chefs, Cooks, and Catering assistants in preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our residents. You will be responsible for managing a fully equipped kitchen and serving areas within a modern catering environment.

• Develop and implement an innovative, varied, and nourishing meal service that meets resident needs and preferences
• Create and present meals in an aesthetically pleasing manner that encourages enjoyment for consumers
• Promote and maintain a safe food environment, including the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and associated areas
• Ensure that team practices are informed by client experience and feedback is regularly sought and provided
• Initiate opportunities for improvement to support team effectiveness and positive client outcomes

This is an exciting opportunity for a Head Chef to lead and influence innovation and excellence without sacrificing their personal time. You will utilize your experience and knowledge to contribute to our groundbreaking 'Happy Tables project,' which takes a 'food-first' approach to combating malnutrition in Aged Care.

You will possess a Cert IV in Commercial Cookery with demonstrated experience leading a high-volume kitchen catering team. You will also possess a current NDIS check clearance (or be willing to obtain one), an open driver's license, and full Australian Work rights.
