About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer Lead to join our team at Quantexa. As a Data Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our data processing systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of data processing systems, including data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient data processing systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior data engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve our data processing systems and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data processing systems and technologies.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams of data engineers, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of data processing systems, data storage, and data analytics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud-based data processing systems, including AWS and Azure.
