About the Opportunity

CQUniversity is seeking a dedicated and passionate tradesperson to join its School of Trades as an Electrical Trades Instructor.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your practical knowledge and skills with students, equipping them with the skills needed for high-quality client service in the Electrical trade.

As an Electrical Trades Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on workshops and classroom instruction, as well as office duties. You will make a lasting impact on the future of the industry by helping students gain the practical skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their trade.

Requirements

  • Possession of a relevant vocational qualification/s at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered: industry qualification (certificate, trade certificate, diploma, degree or masters).
  • Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
  • Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being delivered.
