Career Acceleration in Defence Science

The Defence STEM Cadetship offers an exceptional opportunity for high-performing undergraduate students to accelerate their careers in defence science while completing their tertiary studies.

As a STEM Cadet, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of cutting-edge technologies and scientific advice to Defence operations. This prestigious program provides a unique chance to work across Defence, leveraging your academic knowledge and research skills to drive innovation and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific advice and develop technologies relevant to university studies
  • Support current Defence operations and military capability platforms with scientific and technical expertise
  • Explore future technologies for Defence and national security applications

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship
