We are looking for experienced Speech Pathologists who enjoy working in various settings, including clinics and community locations.
Job DescriptionWe are expanding our Speech Pathology team and welcome applications from dynamic Speech Pathologists eager to join a multidisciplinary team and make a positive impact.
Successful candidates will be responsible for providing supports to NDIS participants living in the Central Coast or Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland and surrounding areas.
Our team provides assistance to individuals of all ages and abilities, helping them achieve their goals. Each day presents new opportunities and challenges.
Our caseloads are designed to cater to your experience and interests, offering a range of clinical areas across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents, adults, dysphagia, communication difficulties, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
We are committed to supporting your career growth through ongoing training, professional development opportunities, and access to resources within our national network of Speech Pathologists.
You can expect to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and participate in regular meetings, online and offline, to share knowledge and best practices.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services
- Early Years caseload (0-5) – Clinic/Home-based early intervention and parent coaching
- School-aged children (5-18) – Literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding and AAC assessment and implementation
- Adults – Functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia and mealtime management, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke and acquired brain injury rehabilitation
- Neuro-affirming supports to our large neurodivergent population of all age groups
