
Audit Management Professional

We're seeking an experienced professional to take on a key role in our audit team. As a Manager in Audit, you'll be responsible for leading the engagement and ensuring accurate reporting of financial statements. Your expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and related financial matters will be invaluable in providing meaningful insights to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Audit Strategy: Define audit strategy in consultation with senior management and execute it in compliance with established policies and protocols.
- Manage Audit Process: Effectively manage the audit process with consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
- Lead Fieldwork: Lead and manage fieldwork on clients' sites, liaising with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of the audit process.
- Accounting Expertise: Leverage your expertise in accounting frameworks and related financial reporting matters.
For this role, you'll need a degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent). Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements is essential, as well as leadership skills and excellent communication and negotiation abilities. A collaborative approach to management and ability to create a positive learning culture are also required. You'll have the opportunity to coach and counsel junior team members to help them develop their skills.
