Key Role Summary

The Conference and Events Director oversees the day-to-day operations of conferencing and/or events venues, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.

  • Directs, supervises, and coordinates operational activities to guarantee successful event outcomes.
  • Ensures compliance with venue and hotel policies, procedures, guidelines, and manuals to maintain a safe and profitable environment.
  • Cultivates a sales culture, maximizing up-selling and on-selling techniques to drive revenue growth.
  • Fosters effective communication within the department and with other departments to prepare and follow up on events.

The ideal candidate will be accountable for delivering exceptional service and operations while surpassing internal and external guest requirements. They will strive to enhance rapport with existing clients and contribute to creating new function business opportunities.
