This role requires a strong understanding of spatial data maintenance and experience in designing and running improvement projects.

About the Role: As a Data Officer, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of spatial data services and managing the lifecycle of Vicmap products. Your domain expertise will be crucial in providing subject matter knowledge and ensuring the integrity of Vicmap data meets customer needs. To be successful, you will have strong analytical and project management skills, as well as experience in spatial data maintenance and improvement projects.

Key Selection Criteria: We are seeking a dynamic professional with effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Your data literacy skills will be crucial in optimizing service delivery and decision-making processes. You will also need to be adaptable, results-focused, and ready to make a meaningful impact in the development of Victorian communities.

Qualifications and Experience: Mandatory qualifications include a relevant tertiary qualification and 3-5 years of experience in managing spatial data. Desirable qualifications include experience with Vicmap Core Spatial Data Products and Services, spatial data maintenance, and spatial data improvement projects.
