After School Club Teacher Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a fun and energetic individual to join our team in running educational, hands-on after-school clubs for children.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and introducing projects in a positive and exciting manner, ensuring safeguarding policies are followed, explaining learning principles, demonstrating project construction, listening and talking to individual children, and retaining a sense of humour.

Previous experience working with primary-aged children is essential, as well as being reliable and enthusiastic.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running educational, hands-on after-school clubs for children
  • Setting up and introducing projects in a positive and exciting manner
  • Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed
  • Explaining learning principles and demonstrating project construction
  • Listening and talking to individual children and retaining a sense of humour

Additional requirements include:

  • Reliability and enthusiasm
  • Previous experience working with primary-aged children

Working hours are between 2.30-4.30pm Monday-Thursday, with ideally available sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 3.15-4.15pm.

Teachers are paid per session (1 hour delivery), with most clubs running for 8-10 sessions per term.
