**Job Summary**

As a Warehouse Storeperson Submariner with the Australian Defence Force, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our submarine logistics. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of vital supplies, equipment, and provisions to support our naval missions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the inventory of equipment, provisions, and spare parts, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely delivery to the submarine and shore-based facilities.
  • Coordinate the receipt and storage of supplies, including hazardous and dangerous goods, in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move supplies and equipment within the warehouse and to the submarine.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure compliance with financial and logistical requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve supply chain issues, ensuring minimal disruptions to our operations.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the efficient operation of the warehouse and submarine logistics.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant tertiary qualifications desirable.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, supply chain coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies, as required.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying shifts and workloads.
