We are seeking an experienced and motivated Centre Manager to join our team at Guardian Childcare & Education. This is a leadership role that will allow you to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity working closely with your Team of Teachers and Educators to create a safe and secure environment where children are supported to be brave, curious, and imaginative in their learning. You will enjoy building lasting and meaningful relationships with families so they feel informed and sure their children are receiving the best education and care in the community.

You will also have the opportunity to develop an exceptional culture of quality and safety that makes Guardian the Centre of choice in your community. As a Centre Manager, you will contribute to making your Centre an example of why Guardian is driven by its mindsets of being brave, positive, thoughtful, and professional in all aspects of what we do.

About the Centre

Our South Coogee Centre is a modern boutique-sized childcare centre with 44 places. We offer large shady play areas featuring a cubby house, sandpits, and bike tracks, as well as indoor spaces set up to feel both homely and inspiring. Our highly qualified team is dedicated to excellence in childcare by providing a welcoming and safe environment with lots of extra-curricular activities including yoga, sports, music, and cooking.

We are community-focused and actively look to engage and build supportive and strong relationships with our families, children, and the local community. Conveniently located opposite South Coogee public school, with plenty of underground parking and bus stops nearby, our Centre is easily accessible for families.

What We Offer

Requirements

">

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards). You will also require prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a leadership role, sound practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF, budget and financial accountability experience, and current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and current Working with Children check.
