Why Gartner Executive Programs (ExP)

A Gartner Executive Partner plays a pivotal role in supporting CIOs and senior IT leaders. The Gartner Executive Programs (ExP) serves thousands of clients across 87 countries, offering a single source of knowledge and insight focused on CIO-level challenges. Members, including Fortune 500 companies and governments, benefit from shared knowledge, Gartner objectivity, and independence. Gartner's Executive Partners act as coaches, content providers, and business advisors, partnering with colleagues to deliver service solutions utilizing Gartner products and services.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage a portfolio of 20-25 member relationships with prominent global enterprises and public sector organizations
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to create service solutions for clients using ExP products and resources
  • Define and deliver innovative advisory solutions by assessing member Mission Critical Priorities and developing a customized service plan
  • Conduct on-site and virtual briefings, including workshops, research analyst visits, roundtables, and webinars
  • Present or facilitate at local ExP events
  • Build a strong partnership with Gartner's Sales and other business units, collaborating to ensure member engagement and renewal of ExP business

  • The ideal candidate should be based or willing to relocate to Melbourne area, with past experiences working with clients from public sector
  • Strong consulting/advisory background with 15+ years of progressive career experiences
  • Extensive knowledge of a CIO's focus areas and an in-depth understanding of the IT industry, including utilization of Gen AI, enterprise digital transformation, digital business strategy, leadership, IT operating models, technology strategy and trends, use of metrics, etc.
  • Advanced critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • High tolerance and an advanced ability to lead and manage ambiguous situations and account scenarios
  • Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills
  • Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills (Executive Presence)
  • Demonstrable sales and/or business development experience with CXO level executives
  • Curious and hungry to learn
  • Committed to making others successful
  • Willing to work in a hybrid environment (virtual and on-site), and travel up to 25% locally and domestically
