Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Painter to join our fabrication team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicle components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Removing rough spots on vehicle panels
  • Sanding surfaces by hand and using power sanders
  • Masking areas not to be painted using tape and paper
  • Mixing and colour-matching paints to match existing vehicle finishes
  • Applying primer and top coats using spray guns, including sanding between coats
  • Removing masking paper and finalising painted surfaces
  • Performing maintenance on spray equipment
  • Prepping vehicle parts prior to painting
  • Loading and unloading racks in the spray booth area
Requirements

The successful candidate must have proven experience in vehicle spray painting or automotive refinishing, with a strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

They must also be able to read and interpret paint specifications and instructions, as well as use a variety of painting tools and equipment efficiently.

A trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing or equivalent experience is preferred.
