Job Title: Technical Sales Representative - Perth

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Perth. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all sales, technical queries, business development, and administration of key accounts and new clients within the allocated territory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all sales, technical queries, business development, and administration of key accounts and new clients within the allocated territory.
  • Pro-actively promote the company's product range to new and existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Conduct client site visits to secure new orders.
  • Liaise with customers and assist with general enquiries on the company's product range, offering technical advice and product information.
  • Up-sell additional products on customers' initial order and cross-sell other products and services within the business.
  • Pro-actively advise existing and potential customers of sales promotions, product improvements, and new product launches.
  • Increase sales through various direct and indirect methods while maintaining profit contributions.
  • Negotiate long-term contracts for various products and services through regular client meetings and service reviews.
  • Develop marketing and sales strategies to target potential clients.
  • Provide statistical, development, and sales reports to senior management.
  • Maintain and develop the customer database, ensuring the accuracy of all information entered.
  • Perform general administrative duties and work to office procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have gained previous experience in a Technical Sales role.
  • Proven business development skills.
  • Excellent account management and customer service skills.
  • Ideal candidate will have a Trade background experience or a strong technical aptitude.
  • Full WA drivers' license.
  • Excellent PC and Data Entry skills, good keyboard speed with a high attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Highly motivated and ambitious.
  • Able to use own initiative, pro-active, and forward-thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills.
