Role Summary
About this roleThis job involves supporting the upkeep and operational activities for a campus facility, including maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds in a safe and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities- Assist with facilities maintenance and operational tasks.
- Supervise staff during daily and planned work activities.
- Provide leadership in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
- Maintain equipment and its upkeep as needed at the campus in a timely and cost-effective way.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Trades Training or Building Services Technology.
- At least 5 years of recent supervisory experience leading a team in facilities maintenance or building operations.
- Experience in constructing industrial facilities and associated commissioning.
- Knowledge and experience in Occupational Health & Safety Policy, Standards and Compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting at all levels.
- Strong technical knowledge and skill in start-up and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
