Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the physical, academic, and personal development of students across Years 7 to 12.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality teaching in PDHPE and Human Movement Science, adhering to NESA curriculum requirements.
  • Plan and implement engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Integrate theory and practical components of PDHPE, promoting lifelong physical activity and health awareness.
  • Use a range of formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform practice.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students during practical lessons.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, parents, and school leaders.
  • Promote and model a commitment to student wellbeing, resilience, and respectful relationships.
  • Contribute to the organisation and supervision of PDHPE-related school events, including carnivals, excursions, camps, and sports competitions.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, professional learning days, and school community events.
Requirements
  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Education with a PDHPE major or equivalent.
  • Accreditation with NESA (New South Wales Education Standards Authority).
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

They should be energetic, enthusiastic, and able to inspire and motivate students across all ability levels. Collaborative and collegial, they should contribute positively to the faculty and wider school community.
