The Zinfra Projects and Infrastructure business is a trusted partner for delivering construction projects in Transmission Lines, Substations, Renewable Energy Storage, and Green Gas Infrastructure.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer (SPE) with expertise in Electrical or Civil engineering to join our projects and infrastructure business.

This role will work across the full project lifecycle, from initial tendering to project delivery, and will play a key part in securing and delivering projects.

The SPE will also support the development of Project Engineers (PEs) who report directly to this role.

Our projects primarily involve civil, structural, and electrical scope, with project values ranging from $5M to $50M.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Scoping, coordinating, and delivering projects from proposal to close out, ensuring technical requirements are met and scheduling, budgeting, and quality requirements are fulfilled.
  2. Providing overall technical leadership on engineering aspect projects.
  3. Leading and developing a team of PEs to deliver successful project outcomes and creating a positive and collaborative work culture.
  4. Managing the allocation, utilization, and performance of PEs reporting to the role.
About You

To be considered for this role, your resume should demonstrate a tertiary qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering and end-to-end project delivery experience from a utilities, infrastructure, or construction industry.

Other requirements include:

  1. A strong understanding of project engineering/design & construct methodologies.
  2. Exceptional service delivery focus working across multidisciplinary projects from small to large scale.
  3. Experience in delivering projects to the highest safety standards while also delivering expected quality, cost, and time outcomes.
  4. Well-rounded communication and stakeholder management skills.
