Job Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor role involves overseeing the hotel's maintenance team to ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained.

  • General repairs and maintenance, including preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Servicing plant and general equipment as directed by senior staff.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems efficiently.
  • Undertaking painting and gardening duties to maintain a clean environment.
  • Performing general carpentry tasks to upkeep the hotel's infrastructure.
  • Purchasing and administrative responsibilities.
  • Communicating with guests, customers, and contractors to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Australian work visa or equivalent rights.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts according to business needs.
Key Skills
  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Able to provide support to other operational areas of the hotel if required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
