The Exciting OpportunityWe are currently recruiting Trainee Aviation Rescue Fire Fighters for our Darwin station. This opportunity allows you to start a new career as a first responder within the Aviation industry while earning while you learn.
You will spend the first 11 weeks of your employment in our training facility in Melbourne (accommodation provided), followed by 4 weeks completing your qualification at station. Upon completion, you will commence in your role on station.
You can expect to be involved in:
- Providing critical first response rescue and first-aid services in emergency situations
- Offering expert fire safety advice
- Educating on firefighting techniques
- Tackling emergencies, from aircraft incidents to fires
- Embracing both physical and mental challenges, with a roster system that ensures a healthy work-life balance
- Ongoing training and development
During Training: $50,567 per annum plus superannuation
Post-Qualification: $70,818 per annum plus superannuation
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Hold a current Australian Driver's license
- Hold a minimum grade 10 high school certificate
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
