Data Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to design, develop and maintain large-scale data architectures on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Write SQL queries against Azure SQL Database / Synapse
  • Develop database models and designs based on business requirements
  • Collaborate with data architects and engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a data engineer in data warehousing, ETL/ELT, BI and analytics projects
  • Expertise in data modeling, ELT with ADF, views, stored procedures and DWH concepts
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud data platform components: Security, Monitoring, Databricks, Synapse, Blob Storage, Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Analysis Services and Power BI
